i dont usually write about a specific event in my day to day life....... but lunch today with sarah, kamber, james, and lacey was definitely out of the ordinary.
it was one of the few times where the rest of the world fell away...... it didnt matter that sarah is leaving in the morning for denver nationals, or that james is only home on leave for 2 weeks, or that kamber is dating again for the first time in a very long time, or that lacey hasnt been back in the desert in years, or that im basically a gypsy. it was 3 and half hours of quality time with some very great people.
if you havent seen baby sister and me together then you are seriously missing out and add kamber into the craziness and its a unique experience lol. james made kamber a mask out of her take out box and was showing off his knife throwing skills...... while sarah and i were bragging about our fast peeing skills. kamber's date with the pianist kept us entertained for awhile.... just because we all have the same sense of humor as a 12 year old boy and to us a pianist is a person really good at urinating. kamber was making her standard random comments that kept us all laughing. and lacey who had never met any of them held her own like a pro!
the best thing about the entire meal was when sarah and i decided that "this is better then the alternative or the other alternative and she is WAY cuter then the alternative" lol......... we tend to not us actual names or even a 'fill in' for a name, just talk around it. but i still think it would be a pretty good idea!! :)
have i mentioned lately how great my friends are??
