NFR time!!

Well its the first week in December and for those of that eat, sleep and breath rodeo you know that its time for the NFR. I am leaving tomorrow morning and coming home Tuesday night.

I always have mixed reactions to watching the girls run barrels in the Thomas and Mack.... I thought I would get my permit the day I turned 18 like everyone else did and aim for the finals, well here I am 23 and still an amateur. Yes, the day I get my permit and hit the rodeo trail is much closer (but thats a story for another day) it is still hard to watch other people live my dream. I know that most of us riders in the stands there feel the same way....... but you couldn't talk me into staying home for anything, the energy in that arena keeps me motivated for the entire next season.

I will run barrels at the NFR eventually--- and don't you forget it :)
